Engine Stalled & Will Not Restart

Has your engine stalled when you selected gear and now it will not restart?

This article is particularly useful for Jaguar, Land Rover. Range Rover, Mercedes and BMW vehicles to restart the engine after a failed start.

Engine stalled when you selected gear and now it will not restart?

If you have selected drive gear without entering the code, the engine has stalled and now will not restart then proceed as follows:

1. Ensure the vehicles ignition has been off for at least 10 seconds.
2. Put your FEET Flat on the Floor.
3. Wait 10 seconds.
4. Do not touch the brake pedal.
5. Press the Engine Start button to turn the ignition on so FULL dash lights are displayed, airbag light and engine management etc.
6. Enter your normal disarm code.
7. Confirm double flash or beep for acceptance of code.
8. Put foot on Brake.
9. Press Engine Start button.
10. Engine Starts.

Following the above, the next time you turn the ignition off the Autowatch Ghost Immobiliser 2 will arm as normal. When restarting the vehicle proceed as normal.
